Joomla provides a great content management system that is easy to configure, implement and manage. In fact, this site is designed using Joomla. Yeah, there are other products out there such as WordPress, but I have not touched them. From what I saw when looking for my own solution, Joomla is the only Open Source CMS that provides the level of customization that I was looking for. There are over 1900 extensions that allow you to do just about anything with the application. And you never need to edit HTML tags again. NVu – http://www.nvu.com/index.php If you are completely stuck on the masochistic habit of creating flat HTML files, but want to save a bundle on software such as DreamWeaver, et al, give NVu a try. It is free and will give you many of the functions that you have ome to expect from a good HTML designer.
